A Royal Audience For Rosebank |
His Majesty The King samples Rosebank at the Palace of Holyrood |

Dear Petra,
In a momentous occasion at the Palace of Holyrood yesterday (19 January 2026), His Majesty The King, accompanied by First Minister of Scotland John Swinney MSP, hosted a distinguished gathering to mark the Scottish Investment Forum.
It was within these historic walls that Rosebank was proudly celebrated. Representing Rosebank were Leonard Russell, Managing Director & Chairman; Tom Russell, Head of International Business Development; and Katy Muggeridge, Brand Director for Rosebank and our sister distillery, Glengoyne.

The reception brought together luminaries from the whisky sector, healthcare, and AI to celebrate the very best of Scottish entrepreneurialism. Amidst this showcase of excellence, Rosebank shone brightly. Rosebank 31 Year Old—recently crowned the best whisky in the world at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition—stood as a testament to the enduring quality of our own history. |

Reflecting on this profound honour, Leonard Russell remarked: “We are honoured to have met His Majesty and to have been able to present him with this whisky which, fittingly, is a jewel in our crown.
“Rosebank whiskies were distilled before the distillery’s closure in 1993 and left undisturbed in refill casks for over three decades. The resurgence of the distillery has been important to the town of Falkirk and we look forward keenly to a time when we can make available our newly distilled Rosebank whiskies. We are so proud that King Charles and the First Minister have been able to share this exceptional whisky with us today.” |
